2007 - The Short Version

Dear List Members,

Much has been flowing to me relative to 2007, and while I sense much of this for me personally, I submit it here for your edification and review. It is important to note that prophecy has specific application in some situations; partial application in others, and often, no application at all...it is for the hearer (reader) to judge for themselves the value of a prophetic word. Said in plain south Georgia language, "If you can use it, use it! If not, can it!

This will be a year in which learning how to enter and stay in God's rest (Hebrews 4) will be imperative. To the extent one has the ability to "rest in God," to that same extent will he soar with God. To the extent restlessness and anxiety control, to that same extent fear will negate the blessing and favor that God so desires to dispense in 2007. This will be a year in which we will not be able to "judge by the sight of our eyes, nor reprove by the hearing of our ears" (Isaiah 11:2-4). This will be year in which we cannot "judge by the outward appearance" (11 Corinthians 10:7), nor "fear evil reports" (Psalm 112:7).

This is a year designed to vault us forward into viable, visible, physical, evidence of God's power, destiny, and favor; but it will not come without an ability to "rest in God." God's rest is a place of complete trust, in which the man or woman of God is so 'surrendered' that no circumstance can produce sustaining fear or anxiety. Are there situations that you and I face that can 'rock our socks?' ABSOLUTELY! But when we retreat into that quiet place with the Father, the anxiousness, the fear, the pain of the situation must leave; and the beautiful peace that only God can give returns.

"In repentance and rest is your salvation; in quiet and peace is your strength" (Isaiah 30:15).

This will be a year of spending time with God, getting to know Him as you never have; a time of intimacy on a higher level. Time with God produces intimacy with God, and intimacy unlocks revelation which releases impartation (to you and others). This will be a year of 'spreading the true gospel.' The true gospel is spread by those who walk what they talk - testimony! testimony! testimony! (Revelation 12:11). How can any man lead you where he himself has not walked? Beware of such men! This will be a year of separating the true from the false - God's people have been deceived long enough...the true will began to separate from the false; the ability for the two to stay together is fading like oil and water.

"The joy of the Lord is your strength" (Nehemiah 8:10). This will be a year in which the true remnant of God will sense the "strength" of God as never before; and this strength will come in great measure through the pure joy that only God can give - an inside knowledge of God's power, protection, anointing, and provision in one's life.

A mighty increase, expanded boundaries, new places and new faces will dominate much of 2007 - complete victory over 'the world's system' as 'the Kingdom' replaces the world's system in the affairs of remnant saints. A financial freedom is coming, first to those who have learned to separate 'the world's system' from 'the Kingdom's method,' then to the Church as testimony (the word made flesh in the lives of men and women) ARISES for all to see!

As greater darkness comes upon the earth, so too will 'the light;' Walk in it, be drawn to it, follow it, chase it...as clear lines of distinction are being drawn in the sands of this time.
